The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Melbourne is undertaking a feasibility study of establishing a Vedic Hindu Primary School in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
ISKCON has vast experience in managing schools worldwide. The Krishna Avanti School (http://www.krishna-avanti.org.uk/) near London UK has been ranked as one of the best primary schools in the UK. The Queen, together with the Duke of Edinburgh, recently visited the Krishna Avanti School on the first day of her Diamond Jubilee tour in March 2012.
ISKCON schools present the Vedic system of education in a contemporary environment. ISKCON schools respect every child as an individual and aims to develop their full academic, spiritual and moral potential. Each child gets lots of attention to explore their individual talents and this makes for a strong academic foundation built on a blend of traditional and modern methods with a range of stimulating activities. Priority is given to reading and writing, music, group singing and performing arts.
Along with English, Sanskrit is taught at all year levels, as multilingual children are better equipped in their first language as they learn to see patterns in language and to use language effectively. Children also enjoy a balanced mix of yoga, games, dance and movement, all of which help develop their health and interpersonal skills to promote self-confidence and teamwork.
A love of learning is encouraged in a caring atmosphere that helps build the children's self-esteem, so they can grow as confident and positive individuals of good character, behaviour and competence. They are taught to reflect on their experiences and become aware of themselves, their relationships with others and the world around them, with respect and understanding toward all religions.
The full Victorian curriculum will be taught to children by teachers fully qualified and registered with the Victoria Institute of Teaching who hold current teachers certificates. The school will be registered with the Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority, which ensures that all schools in Victoria comply with the state's registration standards.

Great post This is what every parent knows by instinct: nice teachers matter, especially for very young children. This is first time in many instances that your child will be separate from you for any extended period of time. It is very important that which Primary schools in pune you are selecting.
